Life with Cancer, Entry#05: Looks Can be Deceiving

Life-with-Cancer-05---Looks-Can-be-Deceiving_2

Cancer is an odd disease.

It’s not like a cold or the chicken pox where you pretty much know what to expect and how long to expect it for.  Even two people with the same type of cancer can have very different experiences with the affliction.

Some people with cancer look like death, but are actually on the verge of recovery.

Then there are people, like me, who look fine on the outside, yet have but barely a glimmer of hope that we can even live beyond a year or two.

I try my best to keep a positive attitude, but I have to admit that I wonder sometimes… how long will it be before I no longer look like me?

No matter, I suppose. I can still stand to lose a few pounds before bikini season hits!

Please help me in my quest to raise public awareness on how cancer originating from Hepatitis B (the cancer that I have) can be easily prevented.  One simple test can save someone their life. Learn more by visiting my Donation Page.
